The MidMichigan Innovation Center (MMIC) is a privately funded, non-profit organization working to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses in and around mid-Michigan.·

MMIC is headquartered in Midland, Michigan and operates a 112,000 square foot business incubator with significant support from The Dow Chemical Company.· Our organization operates with minimal staff and leverages resources from around the region to create valuable collaborative partnerships for the benefit of our members, virtual members, and aspiring entrepreneurs throughout Northern and Mid-Michigan.·

MMIC supports and start-up companies in the industrial sectors but does not target specific technologies. We are also a satellite of the Mt. Pleasant SmartZone™ and we have relationships with other incubators around Michigan and throughout the U.S. that do focus and have expertise in specific technologies.·

There are a multitude of benefits afforded our members that foster growth through these alignments.· Our affiliates have expertise in a multitude of technology areas including nano-technologies, advanced materials, alternate energy, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
